Grace Ouwinga is an artist from the upper peninsula of Michigan, where they developed a fondness for eight-month-long winters. They specialize in fantastical, dreamlike storytelling that blends wonder with unease. In 2023 they received their BFA in Illustration from the College for Creative Studies.

They have done work both as a freelance illustrator and as a design intern for Juniper Books in Boulder, CO. Their work has been featured in Illustrated Worlds magazine.

Grace spends their spare time baking, running, or hanging out with their conure, Hopscotch.
